From the recording The Intelligence of Rocks

At Pompeii, suggestions of all manner of human activity have been accidentally preserved. The off-white and crimson traces of mica (here seemingly splashed on the rock) suggest that something violent and gory, and quite possibly erotic, has taken place. The chord progression in the second phase of the piece encodes pathos, humanity and understanding whilst contained within a rigid time-framework. Again, we are distanced from the evidence of human trauma and assume a kind of speculative distance.
